Jackalope Hotel

A 46-room hotel on LL Vineyard in Merricks North, built by developer Louis Li in 2017 and themed around the North American jackalope myth — a half-rabbit, half-antelope creature borrowed as the design conceit. Avant-garde architecture facing 11 hectares of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir planted in 1989. Hatted restaurant Doot Doot Doot under a 10,000-globe chandelier, cocktail bar Flaggerdoot, and an art collection that includes Random International's Rain Room.
