Farm Stay
Lisdillon Vineyard Accommodation
East Coast Tasmania, TAS
The Story
A 1830 sheep farm and saltworks at Little Swanport on Tasmania's East Coast — once a township of nine families with a general store, pharmacy, church, school and post office, now a single estate with vineyard and five heritage cottages. The Cotton family stewarded the property from the 1960s until 2025; the Bedding family took over in November 2025. Truganini visited in the 1830s and made a basket from Lisdillon grasses, now in the Queen Victoria Museum. Cool-climate east coast wines from the estate vineyard.
