A three-storey tower on a 650m plateau in north-east Tasmania, 30km from St Helens down dusty forest roads. Sue and Jono built The Keep on 250 private acres ringed by thousands more of forest reserve — exclusive use, two guests only, two-night minimum. King bedroom with botanical wallpaper and a library nook. Full chef's kitchen with a Falcon dual fuel cooker; vinyl and board games instead of a TV. Outdoor bath under the stars. On-site cellar with local wines and spirits.
